Nanowrimo Halfway Point… Not giving up
Hi everyone,
As some of you may have conjectured, Nanowrimo (National Novel Writing Month) isn’t going well for me. Currently, I stand at a little over 6 and a half thousand words. Since it’s the 15th, I should be halfway, or at 25,000 words. That’s a little bit of discrepancy. I feel a little like this…
So, it’s going to be a bit of a battle. To top it off, I have edits coming for the next Jack Heckel novel (yay!) and there’s a day job too.
Having said that, I’m not giving up.
I’ve told many people in the past, if you do Nanowrimo, even if you don’t hit 50,000 words, you still end up with more than when you started. That’s worth celebrating.
I’m working on Book 3 of Krueger, titled The Fall of Ostburg or something like The Queen of the Necromancers. My Krueger series is getting a healthy rewrite and time and sanity willing, new editions. It would be wonderful to have a third book in the series.
Before I get back to writing, my prayers to everyone affected by the attacks in France this week.
All the best,
Harry – 6636 words
Nanowrimo Name – Vashar

You can do it. You only need 2890 words per day. You could do that many at lunch!
